A duet with three cellists synchronized to a projected video by an audio track on headsets. The cellos were miked so the players could treat their instruments as percussion as well as string instruments. The video was shot at Janet’s house. The gestures videotaped in her kitchen were the foundation for her solo on stage. The dancers cued off both the music and video. Janet and Pattie’s duet was a variation of “Duet for Now” (1988). The set was constructed of driftwood found in the Huron River.
