Meg Harper has been working with Anita Cheng since 2001. She has danced in the companies of Merce Cunningham, 1967-1977, and Lucinda Childs, 1979-90. Her choreography includes Long Distance, 1978; Upon Dreaming of the Death of the White Buffalo, 1984; and Patterns in Space, 2001, a trio for Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. She has worked with theater Director Robert Wilson as an actor/dancer since 1998, performing in The Days Before (Death, Destruction and Detroit), Relative Light, Prometheus and The White Raven. Ms. Harper teaches technique at the Merce Cunningham Studio and a class for seniors, Action Magic, at the Village Adult Day Health Center.
