Gordon Beeferman's compositions have been performed by orchestras, chamber ensembles, and soloists in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Rome, and elsewhere. Recent commissions have come from the Fromm Foundation at Harvard, Concert Artists’ Guild, Premiere Commission, and the BMI Foundation. As a pianist, Beeferman has performed in a wide range of settings, from concerto soloist to free-improviser, often in collaboration with dancers. Recently he has performed at Roulette, Music at the Anthology, the Improvised and Otherwise Festival, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and the San Francisco Alternative Music Festival.
